hello, quick question is the 200tdi turbo unit the same as a 300tdi turbo or any other unit for that matter ,having trouble finding one for sale second hand   :(

I don't know about any others but it is not the same as a 300 tdi unit.

You would be much better getting a recon unit from a decent turbo rebuilding company than taking a risk on a second hand unit - you will have no idea what condition the bearings etc are in and it could be as nackered as the one it replaces.
