Spotted Max Power!

I found this motor in St Albans today.
Picture the scene.
There's me laughing at this motor (especially the ironing board on the tail gate) and the owner comes out when i taking its picture (for my Son).
So, we talked.
He told me how much he'd spent on the car (Kerr-Ching) and was obviously very proud of his Jap rocket.
Not my scene at all but it did have some cool gadgets on and the finish was super'b.
I thought i'd show you all.
 :D

PS. I mentioned to him that speed humps are to be raised by 2" to slow drivers down more.
You should have seen his face.

Its not true BTW.

I think he tried to overtake something when they were painting the white lines.

Normally I like RX8s, but something about it just makes this one not very appealing.  I don't like those stripes.

Said it before, and say it again...

Why not ask them what they think of people that take a perfectly good defender, put a fat bumper on it, a snorkel and then purposefully scratch it up?

So it's not to your taste, but like we mod our beast, he's modded his. and if he did the work himself... then good on him. Give me someone like that to work on my car anytime. (No, I don't want white stripes thanks) but respect the work that's gone into it. Looking at the pic, and what you've said, at least he's done it right, and is rightly proud of it. Better than a corsa with a primer grey spoiler half attached on the front.

Personally I don't think it looks that bad, the only thing I would change is the white stripe, but having seen bright orange Landies and "Stickered up" beasts, I don't think we're really in a position to have a go :)

Just a different point of view.... :)

EE
