Recaro Subframes!
« on: December 28, 2005, 23:28:14 »
Just bought some Recaros from a Series 2 RS Turbo and im wondering how to fit them in. Ive been quoted £60 to fit them both in, is that a good price or can I get it done cheaper elsewhere?
Cheers

Hi mate, i have just changed mine, you can bolt your standard runners to the recaros but you will have to drill a hole on each runner, if you bolt it up you will see what i mean. With a bit of a stuggle they will bolt into the SJ, or bolt one side up and re-drill the holes on the other side using new nuts and bolts. It is easy and took me less than an hour, you will be wishing you had done it sooner.
