it appears to have been a wiring fault at the starter so uits melted all the loom from the started to inside the motor & melted the multi plugs, just gonna get some sleep then go n get started as its rebooked for its MOT on mon now & it MUST b ready cos oter wise i wont have a motor to get to work, the damage isnt too bad, just my lungs n throart are a bit sore N the underside of the bonnet & back of the engine is a bit scorched, never thought it would happen to me,im just glad my dad was following in his landy which had fire extinguishers init so could put it out as other wise id have No vehicle what so ever

got the dash out now & discovered where it has burnt throufgh, would appear that the main feed has chaffed through & shorted out between the heater duct (metal) & the bulkhead (metal) so thus starting the fire & melting all the wiring loom, just got to go n fix it now, definetly dreading it
