Well, the conversion from manual to auto in Tigger started today....
The story so far :
 :!: Remove Floors
 :!: Remove Tunnel Cover
 :!: Remove Gearsticks and Selectors
:!: Drop out the gearbox cross member
 :!: Remove the Lamda sensors
:!: Unbolt and remove the exhaust
 :!: Remove the propshafts
 :!: Disconnect the breather tubes
:!: Disconnect the speedo and handbrake
:!: Take off the earth straps
:!: Drain oil from both boxes
:!: Remove the clutch slave cylinder
:!: Carefully !! unbolt the bellhousing bolts and gearbox mounts and lower the whole assembly out of the bottom
That's it for today... tomorrow I should be getting things ready for the new box :-)

the posting of some progress pictures would be good!

This morning, just finished off a few of the last bits and pieces...
:!: Remove Clutch Cover and Plate
 :!: Remove Crank Position Sensor
 :!: Remove Flywheel
:!: Remove the clutch master cylinder and pedal (won't be needing that any more)
I'm toying with the idea of changing the crankshaft rear oil seal whilst it's apart... as I thought it was leaking.. although now I see it, I'm not sure it was..   :?

				Tim,
This is a very impressive workrate. It's taken me 5 days to put a new cambelt on and it's still not finished!!
I do have to stop for rain though

				hehe...
Taking stuff apart is the easy bit, it's making the new box go in and work that's the problem :-)
In response to David's request... the progress so far is that there is a big hole !

Considering what you've done so far, think what would happen on sods law if you didn't change that rear oil seal. Must be worth that extra bit of effort
