simon get back to us about the snorkel gear
just sent u a pm with my number on
cheers jim
-
just remember that the jimny snorkle idealy enters at the front of the wing behind the headlight.....
-
From what Gary says, it sounds like its very similar to the toyota set-up.
I have seen a few pics where people have run the pipe inside the wing, and had it exiting at the back of the wing and up the side of the screen.
No idea if there is room under a jimny wing, but worth looking at.
Im running 68mm B&Q special drain pipe  on my zuk, and that feeds a 2litre 8) So 2" pipe should be fine for a 1.3.
Dont forget pics when its done

What do you use for an air filter with a B&Q special?? coz it looks as tho' it would be easier to junk the stock one and tap off the round air intake before the filter!
-
Simon31cozy...........
Can't help but notice the yellow SJ behind your excellent machine... the one sporting the external cage.
Not to divert attention from your 'well good' looking beasty....but....do you have any better snaps of the SJ. I need inspiration with the cage ?
Check out my photo's on my profile..........cheers !!

When we did the snorkle on the SJ, we used one of those boy racer type cone air filters from Motorworld. Cost about 20 quid and comes with lots of rubber rings to fit on all sorts of vehicles. If you've got a few more notes to spend then try going for a PiperX or something along those lines.
You cant beat a good snorkle a la B&Q, if anything breaks it's cheap to replace. The ones from Kap etc look great, but it's alot of money for a replacement should anything get broken.
I've got a photo in my gallery of how ours is on the outside and can get some taken under the bonnet if they will be of any help. I know you are fitting to a Jimny, but the principal is the same.
