Title: Mixing Diffs
Post by: jimbob on May 15, 2005, 18:30:40: As i think i may have just blown my rear diff. Would i be right in thinking i cant mix 10 spline with 24 spline :?:

If they are both from coil sprung vehicles, then they ought to be though.

Count the teeth on the crown wheel just
to make sure it's the same ratio as the
one your taking out.

With a few rare exceptions, yes.

Id just do diff and half shafts. All the same fittings.

10 spline stuff much easier to get hold off.

If your 24 spline shafts are going spare I'll buy them off you. :wink:
