Title: Mil Wiring
Post by: hobbit on May 08, 2005, 15:18:20
Right, just been sourcing the wiring feeds for the rear of the L/w, 6 cables feed through the chassis to the rear, have sussed 5 of them with simple testing. But one wire has no feed at all as far as I can see,
its red/brown.

The others check out

Red/yel=Convoy
Red/Blk=Tail Lights
Grn/Whi=R/H Ind
Grn/Red=L/H Ind
Grn/Pur=Brake lights

This does not have a switching for Fogs, too early I think on a '74

The idea is to re route the feeds from the chassis into the cab through a junction box behind the bulkead, and feed new wiring down the tub to the lights. Just hate loose ends

Cant lay my hands on the wiring diag for the mils at the moment

Auxilliary trailer feed according to my book - same colour for 12 or 24V, fed off fuse 1.
