Post by: Merlin on May 07, 2005, 20:38:57
How do you tell whether your C/R is 8:1 or 9:1.  Needing a years supply of new plugs from the Spring Adventure & the plugs are different for the 2 C/R's.--Cheers--Cogs

Not a cast-iron method of checking but the low compression engines used a dizzy with an external amplifier wheereas the HC engines had the amplifier on the outside of the dizzy body.
