Title: 90 REAR LIGHTS

hello guys i had a light fire in my 90 fuse box today lol the fuse that do the bk lights and that went up i dont no y so we cut and put a new connet on it but when u start the landy up its blows ther fuse again and 4 this to be my every day motor i need it working asap can ne body hello me out

Check your earths including the one from the battery to the chassis and the gearbox and make sure that they are spotlessly clean

If it's instantly blowing the fuse, it's likely to be a dead shot somewhere. If you think it's rear lights, check the wiring where it passes through the wheel arch 'box'. If the grommet had perished, the wires are left to rub on the metal. Then check where the rear loom exits the right hand chassis rail for the same issue. And then where it enters the chassis rail below the bulkhead area.

has it got a tow bar?????

if so have you checked the electrical socket/wiring often overlooked  i.e socket gets packed full of mud moisture gets trapped there then corrosion etc etc

hello guys sorry only just got bk on here it ended up catching fire at the fuse box and cook all the loom so had me bruv hav a look and with in a day he rewire it
 all and its been sweet as a nut lol fingers crossed lol
