Title: changing steering box!

Im about to change the steering box in my 90 can anyone tell me if i have to bleed the power steering pump? also what is the nipple on the top of steering box for greaseing or bleeding? probably obvious answers to both questions but better safe than sorry only want to do job once, thanx in advance ,

the steering box will need bleeding but it is very simple, just fill the reservoir up and with all unions tight start the engine and slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times and hey presto!!  its bled! :dance:

the steering box will need bleeding but it is very simple, just fill the reservoir up and with all unions tight start the engine and slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times and hey presto!!  its bled! :dance:

... with the bleed nipple that's on top of the steering box open - watch it tho cos it's under a fair bit of pressure!!

 :doh: cheers chris, always forget something, he is defo right though landroger and please do be careful, my brother got a mouthful of fluid last time we did it!!!!!!
