Title: series starter on a tdi?

I know the 300/200 are interchangeable and tdi starters motors fit 2,25 Series engine okay but how about the larger series starters ... will one fit a 200tdi defender? I hear that standard one is a tight fit on a 200 so I am not sure it's possible. I just need to start engine to move truck a few feet - don't need down pipe on if it gives room. haven't got truck here to look for myself.

job sorted, had a spare tdi starter.   Forgot to try a series for size lol  :oops:
