Title: L322
Post by: paul-unny on March 10, 2010, 13:14:47
Hi all.
A friend of mine has a Range Rover L322 3l v6.

He has ordered a service kit and was told there is a filter under the rocker cover ?
Has anyone heard of this and how do you change it.
Many Thanks
Paul

It's not a V6 .... I would advise he obtains a copy of RAVE (or consults www.rangerovers.net) - L322's are not deemed to be enthusiasts machines yet

P.S. I've got one - so I'm not being horrid or anything!

Hi Mate

Yes there is a filter under the rocker cover, it is not intrusive to change, this filter is a breather filter for the engine this must be changed on the TD6 engine if not it will cause to much crank case pressure & the engine will start using oil.
