Post by: Little-Green-Machine on March 07, 2010, 16:01:54
hi all,, on me old mans disco the pipe that comes from the bottom of the turbo and goes into the intercooler, the solid section of the pipe has a flat side to it i cant see why it has but if we were to get a round replacement for the pipe would this give a bit more grunt? thanks in advance Reece

you have inadvertently stumbled on the secret maxpower tweak, replace with a smooth bore straight thru- you'll get an impressive increase pwraoooorrr better mpg, decent throttle response and the chicks will dig you BIG TIME

why would the development engineers at land rover have designed the pipe in question as they did if they did not think they needed it to be like that. leave it be, it is fine as it is.
