Hi there
New to this forum - joined mainly to get the contact details from someone but figured I may as well stick about for a bit and see what it's all about :). I am not an expert in off-roading (done quite a few thousand miles on sand though!) or mechanics by any stretch of the imagination - thought perhaps I could pick up on a few tips on this forum :afro:
I have a 1963 Land Rover 2a SWB Petrol. Previously had an SJ 410 which we took to Mongolia.
I have taken the landie to Algeria and back, next trip is probably Morocco. Few pics of the landie:
Looked like this at one point!

I have 2 other 4X4 cars - a Celica GT4 ST205 and a Mazda 323 GTX Turbo but don't get those muddy so you wouldn't be interested :)
And the other family vehicles:

Hello and welcome.
It's nice to see someone local to me for a change.
Love the pictures! Hope you enjoy yourself here.

Thanks Mark :)

hello and welcome, great pics. i love the jerry can storage on the landy
-
Thanks jay :)
It was pretty much the only place we could think of putting them. Lots of people put them on the roof I know but I would find taking them down to fill and re-fuel quite annoying! Even with 3 jerry cans we needed more fuel for one of the crossings due to rubbish fuel economy - so had to carry an extra 60 litres in the back!

SJ413. Those lift shackles are coming off and will put 2" lift springs instead. Probably get extended prop and snorkel wont stay as a bit of drainpipe :)
