Title: temp gauge moving when lights on

I have a question about the temp gauge on my 200 tdi defender when i switch the lights on the gauge moves all the way up into the red when they are off it moves down to normal.Please help

Don't drive it at night and it will be fine  :roll: or start by checking all your earths i know Andy occasionally had problems with it when he owned it or check the output on the alternator with the lights on and see what thats doing  ;)
