Title: Gear box
Post by: paul-unny on October 21, 2009, 14:47:59
Hello all.

I have a 1995 p38 2.5 dt.
Can anyone tell me what gearbox it has ie lt77..?

It looks like the box and transfare box are one unit.

The reason im asking is because the box sounds a bit noisey when driving and some one has put what looks like chemical metal or similar over the joint between the 2 boxes to stop a leak.. :-.

How much would i get a second hand box/transfare box for

Cheers
Paul

Probably R380, if reverse is next to your leg then BINGO.

T-Box is a separate part and shares it's guts with the RRC T-box but has the electricery inside it.  Check flea bay for a good S/H unit.
