Title: Mud-Club Newsletter - Testers Required
Post by: muddyweb on March 19, 2005, 23:08:18
Hi Chaps,

We've been working on an email based newsletter system that will be sent out once a month with details of forthcoming events, new member galleries, hot topics, etc. etc.

We've got a working system, but could do with a few people to add to the mailing list so we can check compatibility, operation, etc.

If you are interested, please PM me with a suitable email address and details of the email software you use, any spam controls, etc, etc.

During testing, it is possible you will get a few messages as we alter things to make it all work.  Once the system is stable and set up, we will operate an opt-in system to allow all members to receive the newsletter.

Cheers,

Hi again,

Right, thanks for all the offers, I reckon I've got a good selection of email clients, etc.

Assuming we don't have to rewrite the whole thing as a result of the testing, details of how to subscribe to the newsletter will be released in the near future.

Cheers

Yeah, you would... it's an automated emailer, so doesn't have a mailbox in it's own right.

The subscription / unsubscription system will all be put in place using that address when we're happy the content testing all works OK.
