just wondering on my mot failure sheet it says about body dissplacment was just wondering what they mean by this and how to fix . . . all i can gather is that the suspension has sagged a lil on the drivers side so sits wit a lil lean on it would that be what they mean . . . :-k
cheers mike

I thought they all leaned one way or the other :-k
it could be I suppose you could try swapping the springs from side to side...

i know its the suspension as i put a spirit level on the chassis and its dipping on drivers side . . . but i dnt wana go taking it all apart and breaking anything (it is a disco after all) as im gettin a new 2 inch kit in the next couple of weeks just hope they dnt mind it to much wen i take it back up 4 retest lol

now mine leans drivers and i am fat so that may be the reason ha ha . . .
yea the dissplacement was because of the rotton body mounts i missed he he so that was all fixed a re made and welded lol
to get it through the mot ended up changing all the track rods panhard rod bushes had to fix swivel housing , re weld 2 body mounts on , sort the hand brake out , new head light , make a bracket up for the headlight suround , and a few more things took me about 2 weeks to get it all done and 2 days late for re test but i know the manager so he let me off it lol

Thats a list and a half
but dosn't it feel good sorting it yourself.... :D
I had a good list, but at the end of the day I look at my Discovery as a hobby not just a car ;)
-
yea feels great sorting it all myself and building the truck myself
and ive now decided its not a hobby owning a landy . . . its a full time job
