Title: cracked pistons again

as some of you may know i have been talking about changing my cracked pistons for ages.i have finaly raised the funds to buy them and im going to atempt it this weekend. due to lack of funds i am only changing 2 pistons and the piston rings on the other 2 douse anybody have any final advice for me before i take the plung and blow my landy up?

yeah dont bother save ya money an tdi it as you will change pistons an they will crack again in 6 months tds are well known for doin it :(

but if u need a hand give me a shout have u got a piston ring compressor if not i got one ya can borrow

im sure that wouldnt be a problem but i am workin in redditch at mo so if u want it delievered that will be no probs as im workin in north moons moat inds estate if u need it any quicker

i took the pistons out today i found 4 cracked pistons and 2 brocken piston rings and the engine was still driving like that. 2 of them were cracked in half. i carnt wait to get the new ones fitted :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
