Title: Vibration at 1750rpm - Max Torque.
Post by: auf_wiedersehen_pet on February 04, 2009, 19:03:22
For a while I've been suffering from vibration/harshness at 1750rpm in my auto 300Tdi.

It does it at the 1750rpm  in any gear (or neutral), any road speed (or stationary). The only constant is the rpm - which is where I believe maximum torque is.

Any ideas? Cures?

Thank you for your generous offer. Unfortunately, I'm going to decline as the vibration started at least a year before the wheels were fitted!

I'm thinking mounts too.
