Title: pistons again!!!

i am going to change the pistons on my 2.5td soon as 2 of them have cracked in half douse anybody know if it will be ok just to change the 2 damaged ones and the piston rings on the others or do i need to change all 4 at the same time?as you proberbly know they arnt cheap. thanks rich

personally id be changing them all
but aslong as the skirt and crown is all ok....and they have been properly checked for hairline cracks ect
then leave them in
or just fit a 200tdi in  :roll:

i dont have the space to do a conversian i aint got a garrage just a council car park so i have to limit the work i can do

if u get a 200 tdi an need somewhere to do it i can give ya a hand an got engine hoist only takes a day to do as well :P
