just replaced rear shoes on my sj413 and now vehical wont even slow down unless i pump brakes, tried bleeding em(bout half a litre of fluid and a mornings grief} but dosent seem to make any difference.anybody got any ideas as to why this is? #-o

Have you adjusted the new shoes up before bleeding ?

The SJ413 should have auto adjusting brakes but maybe this part isnt working.
Also check that you are not drawing air back into the system when bleeding. I have a little bit of pipe with a slit in it for bleeding brakes, once tho, the pipe had become so weak it was letting air in when I lifted the pedal. Replaced the little bleeder pipe and all was fine

Oh, and some times it can be worth bleeding them with the engine running so the servo is active.....
