Hi guys - will 255/70x16 BFG A/Ts fit a 110 Defender by anychance?. Selling my old Explorer and not much interest so thinking of taking them off the Ford and fitting to the 110 instead of the Grabber TR'S 235/80x16,any help appreciated thanks Andy.

i have 265 75 16 mud's on my 90 and its fine you shouldn't have any problems fitting those on mate all Ive got to do is slight adjustment to steering lock

Thanks for that mate, will the standard rims be ok as well or do i need to look for Disco rims? Or if anyone has a set of alloys forsale
-
sold alloys other week off of mine got steel mods instead  there's a tyre fitting guide on disco forum and for that size tyre they recommend a 7inch rim width not sure if standard landy steels are 7 or 6.5 wide soz hope this helps a bit

Thanks Tom38 for that but just had some good news - it's sold if i leave the tyres on so guess what :-k. Now looking at a blank canvas .

Hello Andy,
now you have a blank canvas you might think about getting a lift on the 110,
then you can fit what ever tyre size you want....within reason.
255's should be no problem with a standard set up and you'll probably get awya with not having to alter the end stops on the steering.
A lift will mean you can fit bigger tyres and get that diff a bit higher off the ground if you play in the sticky stuff or do greenlaning.
Cheers for now,
