Finally finished the tank guard
After being let down more times than I could stand and certain problems with getting parts, then losing interest and putting it on hold, its finished

Nice one, I have just brought mine. I have painted mine up in black hammerite so it blends in a bit more, how did you get on any problems? I see in the instructions you have to mark and drill some holes? Any problems lining them up? I all so see yo have attached your electrics to the bumper. I have decided to fit a waterproof connector and attach the elec socket to the drop plate. When you remove the drop plate for off roading you put a waterproof blank in and keep it all tucked behind the tank guard. I got it from a boat marine place.

It's alot smaller than a normal tow hitch connector as well.

I'm going to fit a single 13 pin connector under the rear wing. It will get cruddy but these are better prtected then the UK 7 pin plugs and now that they are standard fit on Explorer group caravans you'll find they become cheaper and more popular.
