Just a quick question, Where about's is the Chassis number stamped?

VIN number on a RRC is on the plate on the slam panel

Also stamped/etched on chassis under O/S/F wheel arch (near where brake pipes attatch to chassis).

Near the bolts for the PAS IIRC

or on your vehicle registration paper ;)

Sorry should of been a little more accurate. :oops:
all that is left of said Range Rover is the chassis, engine, gearbox, propshafts, axles, steering box, some of the brake pipes.
It's future will be dependent on what the VIN is...
So thanks for the help i shall have a closer looksie. :dance:

In that case it's on the front RHS chassis leg somewhere near the steering box IIRC and can be seen from in front of the wheel, ie through the wheelarch you no longer have.

Cheers for the pointers, i have found the said offending item but having stuck it through CalVIN i now have an approximate age of the it 71 - 79. Just need to suss out some how of positively identifying to an exact date of Build / Dispatch.
I have an incling it is early one by the few visual clues that it has left, Just would like to know for deffo.
