Hi guys, me again.
What tyres do you guys favour. Have been looking around a bit and without lifting my Jimny(which I have no intention of doing) would have to stick to 205/70/15. Doesn't look like Colway do AT's this size(maybe I'm wrong), but most other companies do.
Any opinions?
ps will be a good few months before I save the pennies for this one.

Cheers chaps.
How do you find the Colways for everday and off road use? I have heard/read a lot of peole turn their noses up at remoulds and prefer "proper" tyres.
I only do a low mileage and I have never had a problem with remoulds fitted to cars in the past.

I've used Colway M/T's before and they're fine. Just don't expect the mileage that you would get from, say, BFG's.
-
as you only do low mileage on road colway's are fine
off road i find them pretty good
not got stuck yet that's been due to the tyre's [ my driving yes ]

I just bought a set of greenway macho's from sowden tyres.
Jimny Gary runs these on his jimny and says there excellent.
From my experience id say there the best all round tyre on the market at the moment, good on road, and even better offroad (far better than colwat IMO).

You never had any problem with them?
Audi shreds Kumho road tires worryingly fast. Dont know how many miles they did but lasted 6 months as apposed to the Prelli tyres that have now been on 18 months. Guessing the construction is significantly different betweent road and AT tyres but I wouldnt have thought the quality would be. Thats 6 months of city/motorway, probobly about 4000 miles. I know for a fact the Pirelli ones have done 10,000 and are getting to the replacement point.

Been running Coway 215/80-15's MT'son my Jimny for 2 years now. Can get 20,000 miles if your careful. I've had to replace most of mine earlier due to damage caused with hard off road use, but they do very well. Thinking off trying a set of 235/75-15 Macho's next as they're cheap enough not to worry about and get good reviews. Need to mod the gearing and body a bit more first!
