well in my local paper there was a discovery advertised on a L plate, i went to see it and found it was a M plate 300 tdi auto :shocked:, it was in good condtion and rot free :), it was up for £450 ono and i got it for £375 :lol:,

They are all rotton :lol: When you remove the plastic [!Expletive Deleted!] sheilds unless there already been done :lol:

I don't think there is such a thing as a Disco 1 without some rot. Mine is ok now having just had the sills repaired, and I know it's unusual in that the boot floor, inner wings, etc were fine. The chap who welded it did have a good prod around and was a bit surprised to find that it was only the sills!

I was looking at a M plate 300tdi last night. It was mint, only done 55k miles. But its a 3 door. But he was looking at selling it for £600.

Good base for an off road toy at that price, and the low mileage would mean you should get a decent lifespan from it.

A lad I know just picked up a 300tdi with no tax or MOT but very saveable for £100.00 :'( :'(wish I had found it :'( :'(

mine had the boot floor done and the sills are going soft but as the mot station I take my disco too says the sills arent an mot failure Im not fussed if they rot away!!! :dance: Just have to make sure he never leeves the garage!! :lol:
