Title: Whats this on my V8 disco please ??
Post by: andrew2986 on November 18, 2008, 16:30:24: on my 97 V8 discovery , drivers side behind the engine fuse box is a black cylinder. It has a couple of wires going to it plus what would appear to be two vacuum pipes.
Its about 6" in diameter and about 9" high.
whats it for and can I get rid of it???

They put them on rovers too, some thing to do with emissions i think.

BUT.... which wire should I cut first the red??? or the blue????
