I have sprained the tendons in my left foot on Wednesday afternoon. :roll: I didn't say "ouch" at the time! :shock: I am now on a fair amount of pain killers and crutches, can any guess how I did it? :-k

that hurts i did mine 3 years ago . fell out the kitchen door . took ages to get right and still agravate it now iff not carefull. hope it gets right . alan

It was very mean.......all of 1/2 an inch high!
On Wednesday I went to collect my uniform for the new job that starts on Monday. After messing about with it and discovering that my bowler doesn't, and properly never will, fit me due to an odd shaped head (go on say it - I know you're all dying to!!) and keeps popping off my head, I was given a whole box of goodies (torch, belt things, clips etc) to carry home. So with the box in my arms, I set of to my landy some 10 min walk away, up the steps, along the lane, across the car park ......... only to throw myself off the smallest curb possible! Not only did I almost face plant while scraping skin off both knees, throwing the box across the car park and planting my hands in mud but I had the privilege to do it in front of a police man! God knows what he thought as I was in so much pain that I couldn't actually open my mouth to answer any of his questions!
Still, by the time I got to A&E, the pain was unbearable. Managed to say things by then, although it took alot not to kick the Doctor in the balls while he was resting my foot in his lap and poking it! You know, one of those reactions! Lots of pain killers and a pair of crutches later I was more civil!
However, had to ditch the crutches today as they get in the way while carring boxes up stairs and stuff. But moving tomorrow, so doubling the dosage of pain killers! He He.

I am sat here with 25 staples across a 10" scar and 7 more in my belly button, after having my gall baldder removed last Sunday (27th) .. BLOOMIN HURTS WHEN I LAUGH
Note to self - do not watch Evan almighty again until staples are out - been home 3 hours put sky movies on, and found the part where he hits his and and shouts "I have a boo-boo" hilarious ...not helped by my other half creasing when she saw me in pain while laughing - cue 10 minutes of pain induced laughter.. :shocked:

My old boss (female) did the same thing a few years back ....
Will she was off work the discovered some irregularities ;) in the accounts and she left soon after (funny that) ..
