Title: I have a sudden glow after blowing my fuse.
Post by: muddyjames on October 09, 2008, 17:36:03
Yup, disco came back from garage today for the glow plugs to be wired in. Found out I missed a wire off the battery when I did the engine change over and the fuse had blown so £50 for labour and 50p for a fuse. Wonderful!!

At least I can use it in the winter now and not spew out a cloud of white un burnt smoke now!!

the word coolege springs to my mind. If I knew more about electrics then I might have been able to sort it but I dont have the confidence to be playing about with them.

You win some you loose some and a £51 bill after changing the engine myself isn't too bad. Better than what it would have cost to pay someone to change the engine over!

 I never thought about it that way. I thought people might have taken it as I got embarrased after getting cross or something but not in a pervy way. The wonders of the human minds!!!!
