Title: Did any vitaras come without Power steering?
Post by: Ethan on August 12, 2008, 16:53:36: Hi, im buying a vitara off ebay for a runabout and some light offroad/green laning/fun the advert says it has no power steering but i cant find any other vitaras on ebay without power steering? its a 1993 1.6 sport.

Does anybody no if this would be 8v or 16v also?

yes vitara's came without power sterring ive had a sport it had the twin pully but no p/s fitted
sport shud be 8v if its 16v it will have a rocker cover with 16 valve on it

ps a sport is usually a bit more to insure also so be warned

and yes,i paid very close to Â£200, more for a sport than jlx :shock:
