Title: Cleaned the injector pump tonight, 300 tdi

well tonight after much tinkering, see other threads! i cleaned the exterior of the injector pump using Wynns injector/carburettor cleaner, soaked it liberally then used the same cleaner to power washed it off as it is very powerful spray, let it dry then soaked in WD.  The throttle is now so much free'er and responsive, cantbelieve how much gunk it cleaned out of all the nooks and crannies.  Would recommend it.  not sure about WD so gonna oil it all with 3in1 tomorrow

i always use petrol to clean things up mate and its cheaper than the fancy canned sprays and its reuseable once you have cleaned something lightly soiled.also theres nothing i have come across that it wont remove.
