Title: V8 with 118K miles - any issues with LPG'ing it??
Post by: davidjmiller on June 28, 2008, 22:34:39
Title says it really. My brov is looking to buy an auto Disco and with the price of diesel he's thinking about a V8. Seen one which looks good but has done 118K miles. Are there any worries over the engine being converted to LPG at such milage?

Did I read somewhere that the cylinder head gasket becomes vulnerable above 100k???

Thanks,

DM

My v8 is one 170,000 and runs on lpg had no problems with it at all. Just make sure you give the electrics eg dissy, coil, leads, etc and good service
