please be aware that on some forums there are posts saying that overnight ALL petrol stations in the UK received an email saying that the Govt is about to introduce fuel rationing limited to 15 litres per customer
might be a scam by a disgruntled Yorkie driver to start panic buying
-
Might be real?
-
Obviously real, because obviously the government are going to email petrol stations, as it's a really reliable and non-forgeable form of communication. About as real as the Tooth Fairy; somebody trying to stir things up.
-
WHAT !! you mean the tooth fairy isnt real??????
-
I don't know - next thing you know, someone will be telling us there's no Easter Bunny or Father Christmas...!!!!

£20 of petrol won't even fill the bike!
It was almost dry last friday and I put £20 in and there was still quite a bit of room.
-
I didn't' realise there was such a big panic...
Now I know Why the garage owner shouted at me. I filled the car up, then my 2 petrol cans up as I was mowing the lawn and the bike was out of fuel.
He was not happy, I couldn't figure what his problem was as he was babbling in a language I didn't understand!
Made me laugh when I got back in the car!
-
Our local station has more fuel than they know what to do with and there's been no signs of queues anywhere.
I dont know what all the fuss is about
(apart from the cost)
;)

Glad im working from home next week!
Way its goign im glad I gave up smoking years ago, it would cost about £5 to fill a zippo at the moment!

The garage up the road from me has had NO fuel at all since early Saturday morning, except LPG.
How I wish I was still running round in the LPG Disco instead of a BMW

That's interesting - the forecourt down the road from me is a Texaco and they're out of diesel. Mind you, I try to avoid them as they have a monopoly (the two big filling stations are owned by the same people) and abuse it shamelessly.
Veg oil it is then, unless that's been panic bought to oblivion!
