as mentioned above, dont like the look of the ones that appear to be just flat plate fixed to guttering similar to roof rack attachment, looking for something bent and shaped from round sextion then bolted to gutter, if that makes sense.

Hi mate,
I think I know what your after. Check out greenlane4x4 on ebay. they do them supplied with or without lights. Heres a picture taken from there auction. This is the bar I have on my Disco
(http://i16.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/db/fb/1fae_1.JPG)
I believe this is also identical to the bar supplied by paddocks.
If you want any pictures of mine then just let me know and I'll send you some later tonight.
Mark.

The Paddock one is a fine bit of kit, mine has shrugged off a few low branches with no damage beyond the spots not pointing quite where they were before (I deliberately don't tighten them up that much so they'll move rather than breaking).
-
No worries mate.
I know what you mean about the D44 though - anyone want a one week old greenlane4x4 light bar with lights...lol
Mark.
-
impulse 4x4 ones does it for me loads of choice in light sizes too
-
Just been on the phone to D44, they dont make them any more apparently, shame really its a good looking piece (anyone got one they dont want ????)

hiya chaps,
Craig here, the first light bar brought to light is my own, i am the owner of www.cscomponents.co.uk and before anyone accuses my of spamming, i am not.
as a long term member of landyzone i know how annoying it is when peeps jump on the forum out of nowhere to spam.
this post was brough to my attention by a member of this forum regarding light bars, what i am here for is some feedback from you all if possible. maybe a poll on what yourselfs as customers want.
i am aware how many have been produced and dispatched since the product was launched and we have made improvenments and upgrades since.
i always listen to people with suggestions so please by all means fire away.
firstly i do try to keep the prices as low as possible for everyone but if another version of a light bar is required then i am happy to produce a few testers to create the ideal product.
hope to hear from you all soon as i know changed my password for this site due to forgeting it hence i have been a member for a while but have not used the forum.
over and out.

OK, hold on to your hat, here goes ................
would probably say look at Kingwolfs gallery, but that is only my preference.
How about making some wrap around diff guards?
-
Mine fits the same as KingWolf's I believe it's a Paddocks one (pics in my gallery)

hiya, we dont currently do diff guards at the moment due to costing, when you say wrap round, what exactly do you mean? wrap round the diff cover?
as per pic ill knock a prototype up as soon as i get a chance and take things from there.
cheers fro this lads.
