right here goes i have a p38 2.5TD (BMW) over heating now the symptoms start her up leave it to tick over no prob drive it down the road a mile overheats
all hose have loads of pressure when it does do Ive changed the thermostat and got all air out of the system which leaves me two things
1=water pump (notice it has been leaking) so has it died and not pumping the coolent round ????
2=head gasket (no water in the oil and vice versa,no bubling in header tank while ticking over and no smell of gases in there either ????
is the extream pressure in the pipes a give away ???
help me please im abit lost with this and could do with your thoughts

thermostat has been changed

had same thing happen on my range rover clasic turnt out to be the rad just a thought
