Hi Guys oh and girls
Does anyone know which connection on the back of the alternator on a 3.5 efi rrc does the rev counter and which one does the batt warning light on dash.
At the mo me rev needle seems to be doing its impression of an ammeter, and the batt warning light is only going out at high revs. But its definately only charging a very little,.. BTW I got it all a lot wet on Sunday. But hey at least its runing again.
Any advice much appreciated.

On mine ('89 3.5 EFi), I've got the battery/starter (thick brown) onto B+ terminal, battery light (brown/yellow) on D+ terminal and a white (rev. counter) on W terminal.
Don't know if this is the same as yours though

Cheers Rainbird,
Seem to be the same, took it off today and cleaned it all, brushes were stuck up with muck  Cleaned 'em all sprayed with wd40 [-o< stuck it back in and all seems back to normal
Now this means I got a spare Coil and Airflow Meter off a 3.9  up for sale.
