Unless you have the spare cash, storage space, like polishing them, and taking them to specialist shows, or run a business which requires an old fire engine to make money; I just can't see the point of owning one.

I was expecting a picture of a Range Rover 6x6 to be honest, although the trailer looks useful for a Scout Group

I saw that, though I suspect so will lots of others and it will sell for silly money.

hubbys boss brough a dennis about 6 years ago at auction, paid under a grand for it..tyres had less than 500 miles on them (£300 each if he had to buy them +  they were on alloys) sold the V8 to a guy from Devon. weighed the rest in..made in excess of £6000

....(£300 each if he had to buy them +  they were on alloys)....
In all my years as a fireman I never ever saw a fire appliance with alloy wheels and I travelled all over the UK to liaise with other brigades :-k

I'm sorry but I think you must be mistaken

Probably from a station that had to cover an area full of night clubs, the alloys have spinners fitted, and when the blue lights are flashing the under vehicle blue neons play a part.
