We have Sky tv - £16 a month - we need it due to poor reception.

Then got free broadband - excellent (especially for price)

Sky.......

Had broadband with them for the past month..... the expensive connect package as we cant get any others in out area....... then to my horror they cut us off completely last night.... after an hour on the phone due to some <nice person> our broadband and tv were on different accounts.... and Sky needed to have them on the same account..... so what did they do.... cut me off tottally.... at first I was told I will need to wait 30days to reorder but after much grumbling I have somebody calling me tonight to try and order it but it still means 10days without broadband.... Other than this major problem Ive found it to be excellent... Ive got Sky Plus as well, which they did for £50 which I didnt think was too bad.... esp when we are only on a £19 package.....

Anway will see how it goes tonight with them trying to sell it to me again.......I think time for some freebies from them.... will let you know how it goes.........

Got Sky TV, Talk & Broadband for almost a year now and very happy with it.
Had a problem with the local exchange a couple of times and a duff router early on.  I now use my 3Com kit in place of the netgear box they ship.  If you do get problems the tech support is outsourced somewhere and you need to keep your patience as they go through the script - is the power on to the router, is the phone working etc and insist on being transferred to Tier3 support, eventually they agree but T3 are the ones who can access exchange kit and sort the real problem out.  In my case it was a line card speed setting that had been configured slightly too high and was getting an accumulation of errors.

I tried to get the sky Broadband and sky package for 16 but due to my location it was going to be an extra £17 for the broadband on top so I thought blow that.
