Look under front nearside wing
it exhausts just in front of wheel
-
DO LANDROVERS Come with woodburners or something now then?
-
I thought all td4's had them?
Just prey it doesn't go wrong...... nearly £300 + VAT  Our garage broke a plastic pipe that connects to it.... this is only available as part of the heater  So they are making a pipe assembly!
-
They are not fitted to all TD4
I think a lot of the earlier ones had them fitted as standard.
-
you havent answered my question!
do they have lorry heater type things in them now or something, and if so why?
-
It's a webasto fuel burning heater (like lorries) and they are triggered by temperature below 5 deg
Idea is it preheats the engine so it gets to working temp quicker and heater is warmer quicker
A kit is available to divert heat to the cab and you can also add a timer or remote control
So while you are having your brekky on a cold morning the car is warming itself up :D
-
AHHH, didnt know that then.
-
great thanx like idea of a timer or remote :D
dont like cost ov repair tho just hope it never goes wrong does make a wierd noise sumtimes tho hopefully its nothing
-
the noise is normal (ie they all make it :) )
