hey chaps.
i have just got my mitts on a 95 pajero LWB.
what are the like off road??
ive had a sportrak in the passed and was told SWB vehicles are better, But im on convinced.
Cheers

I've got both a LWB and a SWB, and I use both of them for laning. The LWB can do most things the SWB does, but does tend to catch the steps from time to time, and the rear overhang can be a pain sometimes.
Here's a vid of a few Paj's from when I went laning on Saturday. Mine's the blue SWB

You must of been unlucky, generally they don't have many problems
-
Agree with craig, you must have been very unlucky.
Generally the LWB are fine for laning, few tweeks here and there and they are quite capable i've had mine for 4 years now and nothing more major than a water pump and general servicing.
-
i have a lwb paj it has a 2" body lift a 2" suspension lift ,mud tyres 33" from winch bumper with winch,no rear bumper .........and my latest mod is a rear locking diff.
its goes where i point it
and it is the best most relible truck i have every owned
dont listen to the bloke saying burn it........he must be a fool
-
im no fool, just sayin what i think so far about mine, not sure wt oters are like but just no luck at all with a paj,
-
Dad's had his off round the plains more than one time. Only time we've had trouble is a balljoint failed the MOT, fe hours to fix, and fuel pump seal gone (known fault on 2.8TD)
-
you might not be a fool but you give fools advice
sell it BURN IT swap it BUT dont use it.
all cars have problems it just the way it is,some more than others, but the paj is a really good truck

Yep what you say I agree with but.......
I really hate it when people buy a truck and it is a bad one (there are lots out there of all marques) and then slate every truck of the same type as mr vitara has in this thread.
So we won't slate your experiences if you don't slate our trucks - fair enough?
-
well any how lets get on with this I got a shogan (3rd day of owner ship) wonder ful truck to drive, i solute you for a bloody good truck (sorry if thats a bit blunt but am well chuffed (and its a 2.5 lwb)
