hi now i have a dilema iv just purchased the blue disco on the right the mot has just ran out but shouldnt take too much to get through again its jacked up 3" with nice wheels and mud tyres, the one on the left is the disco i been doing bits too to get it better for off roading thats just got the snorkal and lights bar i been thinking about putting the lift kit and wheels on it but just cant decide, what to do, what to do          :afro: i love them both and would like to have both but i cant afford too :'( :-k :-k
-
i think you should decide which your keeping and then give me the other asap
-
James, keep whichever one is in the best condition bodywise, forget whats bolted onto it, cos that could maybe be swapped anyway..... but rot is harder work than working with spanners!!
-
mileage, service history, rot etc. they are the deciding factors, if its looks , then the blue looks better :P
-
well the silver one has better body i would say i was thinking on putting the lift kit on it if its not too much hassle and the wheels then put the standard on the blue and the alloys then maybe sell her? i think the silver will look pretty cool jacked
-
good thinking ron
-
lift carpets up, go round with the hammer, see which one has most bodywork left after a screwdriver/hammer session.
which one drives best, which one one has the best gearbox (common issue on 200`s) front propshaft?etc
i would possibly go with the silver one, as its hard to sell a car with holes for snorkels etc, but no snorkles!
or, if SWMBO isnt going to get too cross, i`d keep a daily driver (alloys, normal suspension etc) and start work on a proper toy!

cheers ja1983 ill get the hammer out  cheers

I cant even get 1 nut off in that time!!! That is any nut on the disco except the wheel nuts! Also I would have lost most of the skin off of my knuckles and achieved sod all. Good going!

It's obviously an awfult lot easier in a workshop equiped with air tools.... and lifts!!

it is i'm very lucky to be able to use it all only reason i didn't swap the indicators is because i got a 300 headlight lit to put in when i it chance
