been looking for another Discovery, and have sort of been offered one with slight O/s damage..looks like wing/light bumper, and the owner says the inner wing needs repair..K plater MOT till August asking £600, so come on opinions please

Whats the mileage? Depents on what you want it for. If it looks like its been serviced and not been round the world too many times its worth it for the engine and box/spares if thats what you want it for. If your going to want to MOT it again have a good look at the boot floor and inner wings, seals etc. Could and probably will be full of rot!

personaly think its a little steep , but saying that prices seem to be a little uneven at the mo....

K plate...£600.00? too much £ it will be full of tinworm at that age,offer him £300.00 and break it 4 spares

Just from what I can see it needs a door, wing, inner wing?, bonnet and full bumper.  Even with S/H parts that's a tidy bit of work and you'll be mega lucky if the panels match.

Is it not MOT'd either, then it's too much.  If you could drive it away and the accident didn't result in a claim (otherwise it'll have been written off) then maybe £500, otherwise it's spares with wheels on.

£600 spent within the club would buy you something with a bit more reliable history I reckon.  Stretch to a grand and you'll have plenty more to choose from and a bit left over.
