Post by: beattiedh on January 28, 2005, 12:21:44
Hi Guys

Fitting it this weekend.

Being gratefully assisted by MattH however his was a TDI one so is there anything different we should look out for or be aware of?

Measure twice... cut once ;-)

I presume you'll be connecting it to the airbox somehow.  Bear in mind that most of the time you'll be on the road and so should have the snorkel disconnected, the air resistance it causes at high flow rates could screw up your mixture!

Looks great and very happy. It's covered in mud already.

RRB it will be collected all the time as the car is for dog walking and off roading so road mile are very minimal. We have also adjusted the brand new filter to allow maximum airflow.

Very happy and can't wait to fit the wading plugs and V8 waterproofing kit.

Many thanks to MattH for his assitance and tools.
