AAAAHHHHHH My Windscreen wipers are a pain in the precipitation
They work fine in the dry but as soon as it rains they won't start ..
I have to grab one and give it shake and they start , They'll run fine and stop and start for hours but leave them overnight and I have to shake them again
Any ideas or do I have to change the motor

				Hi,
If they work fine in the dry, then i can't see it being the motor, check the moving parts, ( maybe full of gunge )

Partially seized linkage is one to look for but it seems to me that its a water in the electrics problem as it's fine when dry, but happens when wet - if a good shake starts them off again it could well be poor connections/water on the motor or even water ingress into the motor which has killed the brushes/commutator or its silted up the gap between the rotor and stator, but a wiggle over comes the friction.........
