Title: 300 Tdi engine number

Hi, I have a 1986 Defender 90 with a 300 Tdi which was fitted by a previous owner.  I need to fit a new serpentine belt, and I don't know which will fit my engine. Is there any way I can find the engine number on the engine somewhere?
