If he got his money back he s no Muppet...........I'm sorry but we all know Landrovers are nt that reliable ,but look what some of us put them through ,my D2 get abused and when I have a problem I reflect where it and what it has been through, the newer bread of Landys are just to complicated.........

No matter what the build quality is like the same fault on four cars certainly points to a user problem.
That besides what more can anybody ask for than a 100% refund? If he is still on the attack after that then it's clearly more than just about the car.
Looks like a personal problem rather than a mechanical problem to me.

You spend that sort of money ,and see how you feel, did you know that Landrover DO HAVE a problem with the electric park system ? At the price of these things you would think they should never see a workshop other than servicing ,The Japs and Germans manage it why cant Landrover ? I agree he s done well to get his money back which after 25 yrs in the motor trade is not an easy thing to do ,so I don't think the problem lies with HIM.............

Just an extreme RANT. I suspect if I had problems with mine I'd be feeling a bit hard done by as well. However, despite hearing of numerous problems with Disco TD5s I still bought one and haven't (touch wood) had any of the problems that seem to get mentioned - just a problem with the battery in this cold weather, however I've got a solar charger now to see if that keeps it topped up.

There is a guy on there moaning to land rover that his wheels get covered in brake dust too quickley making his 30k car look like an old banger!

im amazed and find it hard to believe that he got a refund as i had no joy at all when i had several problems with a range rover a few years back, land rover are only after your money and thats that, there customer serviceis crap and thats a fact.
i just cannot understand why there are so many problems with new landrovers, my mate has them (brand new ones) in his placeall the time with electrical problems, you just do not get that with jap stuff.
that said, id only drive around in a land rover, and still do, and just couldnt bring myself to buy jap.

after bringing a car for problem back to land rover so many times (4 i think) they HAVE TO change it for a new one, or money back (i think, i no they have to change it, that is why loads of people create faults and bring them in, as long as it is in warrenty, new car) (but this guy was on different cars???)
