Title: front diff locker
Post by: ezz on December 22, 2007, 23:04:40
been trying to get a locker for my 2000 L200,

No one makes one,

The diff is 25 spline 7.25" ring gaer, ARB do a 28 spline 8" gear.

i've been told that a older pajero front axle is 28 sline and would fit my truck,

does anybody know if this is true.. :?

yes....

I'm in the same situation as you, but with a delica

you need the axle and the O/S/F drive shaft

make sure you get the correct ratio and double check the diff size, there are 2 sizes and only about 20mm difference in the length, thats how you check them.

I am looking for a 28 spline 4.875 ratio diff, so iff you find one please tell me...

I need a front one to match this...

all the 4.9 ratio diffs I have found have been the 28 spline ratio,
(2.8TD Auto series II Paj)

what ratio is the L200 ?

4.875,

the ratios are easy changed, just swap the ring and pinion gears over

not sure if yours or my ring and pinions will fit on a 28 spline diff though.
