help! my 97 R P38 diesel seems to sit low on the drivers front corner. ive tried lifting to max height and lowering but it always sits approx 2 inchs lower than the rest of the car?. is it an air spring or the self leveling sensors or worse? very new to landrovers. :(

Either air bag or sensor... or if your really unlucky... valve on the valve block.
It's a garage job I'd have thought unless you have access to electronic diagnostics and the necessary safety gear (for working with high pressure air).
Goodl luck.

after more investigation it is actually mor like an inch lower on the front and rear drivers side?

Does it change...?
I mean if it's allways 1"... then that would mean it's not a leak. A leak would go to the bump stop over time.
Makes me think it might be the sensor and it could just need recalibrating. However, it's still an electronic diagnostics job I think.

You need a copy of Rovacom, any decent LR specialst will have it, my copy isn't licenced for the P38.
If you want to pay the licence fee I'll help you set it up though. It's a very similar system to mine and I can choose all the ride heights in standard, low and high profile plus access mode.

have changed the drivers front height sensor today and all seems fine. the cars back level but im very interested in the rovacom system to reset the ride heights. could you please reply and let me know how much the subsciption would cost for your system? :(biggrin):
